arts education & management
Before she began singing professionally, Heather was working on what is now over ten years of arts education and arts management experience in academic, regional theater, small business, and non-profit settings. She is certified to teach K-12 vocal and instrumental music in the state of New Jersey and has taught private voice, piano, and guitar lessons; classroom choral and general music; and group and private music theory lessons to pre-K to adult-aged students.
Previous positions include General Manager (Princeton Girlchoir), Director of Children's Choirs (Community Congregational Church), Production Assistant and Assistant Music Director (McCarter Theatre Center Education Programs), North American Site Leader (Study Tours by Rider University), Assistant Studio Manager and Piano/Music Theory Faculty (Cornerstone Music Studios), and TheatreWINGS Apprentice (Charleston Stage Company). Heather is currently an administrative consultant for Classic Lyric Arts.
